Formula racing simulator rental
A formula racing simulator puts the guest in a reclined, open-wheel style seat with the pedals raised above hip level: the driving position of a single-seater race car. It is static, and it is the shape that reads as motorsport in a photograph.
It costs throughput, because getting in and out of a reclined seat is slower than sitting down in an upright cockpit, especially in business clothes.
Nobody walks up to a stand and asks for an upright cockpit. They point at the one that looks like a race car. That recognition is most of what this configuration is for, and it is worth being clear-eyed about, because the reclined seat is a real cost on a busy floor.
What does a formula racing simulator need from your venue?
The footprint, power draw, crated weight and case dimensions are still being measured, so the record below shows what is confirmed and marks the rest pending. We would rather leave a gap than print a figure that fails at a load-in dock.

When is the formula seat the right booking?
Book it when recognition is the goal: brand activations, launches, motorsport hospitality and automotive audiences. Pair it with an upright rig when throughput also matters.
A reclined single-seater cockpit with pedals raised above hip level. Static, so the car does not move.
What you gain. The silhouette. In a photograph, from across a hall, on a social post, this reads as motorsport instantly and nothing else in the fleet does. It is also genuinely the most dramatic thing to drive.
What you lose. Ingress and egress. Getting into a reclined formula seat takes longer than sitting down in an upright cockpit, and it takes longer still for guests in business clothes. That time is in your cycle time on every single guest, and across a show day it is the difference between a long queue and a short one.
It is also the least forgiving car we put beginners in, which is why we often recommend pairing it with an upright rig so the crowd can self-sort.
| Use case | Fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Brand activations | Strong | Wrappable, themed, and the shape does the recognition work in every photograph |
| Product launches | Strong | When the activation needs to feel like an event rather than a presentation |
| Grand prix week hospitality | Strong | Activation and occasion reinforce each other |
| Automotive and motorsport audiences | Strong | The audience already understands what they are looking at |
| Very high throughput booths | Weak | Ingress and egress cost you on every guest |
| Mixed-ability crowds, alone | Fair | Pair it with a upright rig so less confident guests have somewhere to go |

The formula ladder is not published yet, because a configuration's prices publish together with its specification record. We quote it on request, usually within 24 hours. To see how pricing is built, switch the estimate tool below to the VR rig, the one ladder that is published.
Included in every price
Delivery, setup, teardown, an on-site technical event manager for the duration, up to three hours of pre-event strategy, on-screen branding, a signage kit, and general liability at $6M per occurrence and $8M aggregate including umbrella. COI issued to your venue on request.
Ladder not yet published
We publish a configuration's prices only once its specification record is complete, so the number you read here is the number we invoice. Until then we quote it on request, usually within 24 hours.

Estimate your event
Can it run every race type?
Yes. Every race type we offer runs on this configuration: F1, NASCAR, IndyCar, GT, drift and rally. The simulator and the racing are separate choices, so pick the rig for the room and the race type for the audience. What changes from one race type to the next is how it feels.
F1
Open-wheel, and the most recognizable race type we run. The seating position matches the car.
NASCAR
Ovals. The most accessible format and the easiest for a crowd to follow.
IndyCar
Open-wheel on road courses and superspeedways. The seating position matches the car.
What do planners ask about formula simulators?
Why does it cost more throughput than an upright rig?
Ingress and egress. A reclined formula seat takes longer to get into and out of, especially in business clothes, and that time lands on every guest rather than once per hour.
Is it too hard for beginners?
Harder than an upright rig, and manageable with a briefing. The usual recommendation is to pair it with an upright rig so guests can choose, which also gives the crowd two formats to self-sort between.
Can we wrap it?
Yes, and the silhouette carries a simple livery further than an upright cockpit does. A single mark and a color works better here than a detailed design, because the shape is doing the work.
When will the specifications be published?
When the measurement record is complete. Footprint, power draw, crated weight and largest case dimensions are being measured rather than estimated, and each publishes here when it is done.
Does it only run F1?
No. It runs every race type we offer. The reclined seat matches open-wheel cars like F1 and IndyCar most naturally, but the racing is a separate choice from the rig.
Does the formula rig move?
No. It is static. If you want motion, the 3DOF motion rig is the configuration that moves.
What this rig is not
It is not the throughput choice. Reclined ingress lands on every guest's cycle time.
It is not the beginner's car. Pair it with an upright rig so less confident guests have somewhere to go.
It is not a motion rig. The seat does not move.
What do you get with every rental?
Six things that are inside the price rather than beside it. There is no second invoice and no drop-off tier.
