Ultrawide racing simulator rental

In shortOne curved screen instead of three. No bezels interrupting the image, a narrower build than a triple array, and a cleaner look on a stand.

A single curved ultrawide display wrapped around a GT cockpit. It does the same job as a triple-screen array without the two seams where the panels meet.

The practical reason to choose it is usually the stand rather than the driving: it is narrower, it looks tidier, and there is less to go wrong in a build.

The configuration

What it is

A GT-position cockpit with a wheel, pedals and one curved ultrawide panel. Static.

What you gain. A continuous image. On a triple array the bezels sit roughly where the apex of a corner appears, and some drivers notice it constantly while others never do. A curved panel removes the question. It is also physically narrower, which matters in a tight booth.

What you lose. Field of view at the extremes. Three screens angled aggressively can wrap further around the driver than a single panel does, so a triple array still gives slightly more peripheral vision. For a corporate crowd this is a smaller difference than it sounds.

Specification

Specification record in progress

Footprint, power draw, crated weight, largest case dimensions, crew and setup time for this configuration are being measured rather than estimated. Each number publishes here when its record is complete.

We would rather leave this gap than print a figure that fails at a load-in dock. The category publishes one footprint for an entire fleet and the published figures contradict each other, which is the problem this approach exists to fix.

Which race types suit it

Every race type runs here. The seamless image suits circuit racing, where the corner apex is the thing you are looking at. For ovals the difference between this and a triple array is almost nothing, because the useful information is straight ahead.

Questions

What people ask about static curved ultrawide gt

Is ultrawide better than triple screen?

Different rather than better. Ultrawide removes the bezels and is narrower. Triples wrap further around the driver. For a general corporate crowd the bezels matter more than the extra field of view.

Why is this a separate configuration?

Because the footprint, the case dimensions and the build time are different, and those are the numbers a planner needs. Treating it as a variant of the triple-screen rig would hide exactly the information this site exists to publish.

Does it photograph better?

Noticeably, and it is a real reason to choose it. No seams in shot and a cleaner silhouette on a stand.

Is it more expensive than triple screen?

Each configuration publishes its own ladder once its record is complete. The VR ladder is published now and the others follow.

When will the specifications be published?

When the measurement is done. This configuration was added to the fleet most recently, so its record is the newest of the four outstanding.
