3DOF motion racing simulator rental
A 3DOF motion simulator moves the entire cockpit on three axes: pitch, roll and heave. The driver feels braking, kerbs and weight transfer. More importantly for an event, everyone who is not driving can see it happening from the far end of an aisle.
That visibility is the reason to book it. If your goal is a crowd, this is the configuration that produces one.
Three axes is the threshold where motion stops feeling like a fairground ride and starts feeling like driving, because heave is what communicates kerbs and bumps. Below it, motion is a novelty. Above it, you pay considerably more for axes a spectator cannot distinguish.
Everything your venue will ask for
In shortFootprint, power, crated weight, case dimensions, crew and setup time. Case dimensions are what decide whether the rig reaches your booth.
Values shown as placeholder are pending measurement · This page does not publish until every one is a measured figure
Why case dimensions matter more than footprint
Footprint tells you whether it fits your booth. Case dimensions and crated weight tell you whether it reaches your booth, which is a different and more frequently fatal question. A rig that fits a ballroom perfectly is useless if the largest case will not enter the service elevator, and that conversation has to happen before the contract rather than at the dock.
We publish these figures per configuration. No other operator in this category publishes any of them, which is why they can only tell you it usually fits.
Motion earns its cost in one specific situation
In shortWhen the people not driving are the audience. If throughput is the goal, a static ultrawide serves more guests for less.
When the people who are not driving are the audience.
At a trade show, an internal event or a brand activation, the driver is one person having a good time and the twenty people watching are the marketing. A static rig gives those twenty a person sitting still looking at a screen. A motion rig gives them a cockpit visibly pitching under braking, which reads as something happening from distance and pulls people toward it.
When a static rig is the better booking
If your goal is raw throughput, static wins. It builds faster, has a smaller footprint, costs less, and seats guests marginally quicker because there is no platform to settle. For a booth where the objective is maximum scans per hour and the crowd will come anyway, we would put you on the ultrawide and tell you to spend the difference on a second rig.
That is genuinely our advice rather than a rhetorical device. We do not sell hardware, so we have no reason to talk you into a bigger rig than your goal requires.
Compare all five configurations on footprint, power, weight, crew, setup time and throughput, side by side.

Included in every price
Delivery, setup, teardown, an on-site technical event manager for the duration, up to three hours of pre-event strategy, on-screen branding, a signage kit, and general liability at $6M per occurrence and $8M aggregate including umbrella. COI issued to your venue on request.
You supply
Power to the position and a level floor. Motion platforms are less forgiving of uneven surfaces than static rigs. Concrete, convention centre carpet and ballroom floors are all fine. Grass, gravel and uneven paving are not.
Rush and booking floor
Three to four weeks out adds $300 per staff member. Two to three weeks adds $600. Inside two weeks we do not take the event.
What people ask about motion rigs
In shortWhat 3DOF means, whether it is worth the premium, motion sickness, power and setup time.
What does 3DOF actually mean?
Three degrees of freedom: pitch, roll and heave. The whole cockpit moves rather than just the seat. That distinction matters, because seat movers tilt you forward under braking, which is the opposite of what real braking feels like.
Is it worth the extra over a static rig?
If your goal is a crowd, yes, because visible movement is what draws one. If your goal is throughput, no, and we will tell you that.
Does it make people motion sick?
A small minority, more than a static rig and less than a six-axis platform. Sessions are short, staff watch for it, and anyone who wants to stop stops immediately.
Is there a weight or height limit?
Yes, and it is published here once measured. Ask us and we will confirm in writing for your booking.
How much power does it need?
A dedicated circuit per rig. The measured draw is published here once verified under load rather than read from a nameplate, and confirmed in writing before your booking either way.
Can it run outdoors?
With conditions: a covered structure, a genuinely level surface and power access. Motion platforms are more sensitive to surface and weather than static rigs, and we would rather move you indoors than risk it.
Will it fit through a standard door?
It travels in cases and assembles on site, which is why we publish case dimensions rather than assembled dimensions. Send us your venue and we confirm before you book.
Can multiple motion rigs race head to head?
Yes, with heats, brackets and a shared leaderboard. This is where multi-rig bookings earn their money.
Do you offer 6DOF?
No. Three axes is our top motion tier. Six-axis platforms add sway, surge and yaw, which the driver feels and a spectator largely cannot distinguish, at considerably more cost, weight and footprint.
How long does setup take?
Published here once measured. Not one operator or manufacturer in this category publishes a setup time, which is exactly why we intend to.
What this rig is not
It is not the throughput choice. A static ultrawide serves more guests per hour per dollar, and if scans are your only metric, book that instead.
It is not the small-booth choice. Motion needs clearance and a level floor, and a 10 by 10 will not do it justice.
It is not six-axis full motion. We do not offer that tier, and we would rather say so plainly than let you assume.

Placeholder testimonial. Ideally one that names the operational thing that went right, because those are the quotes planners actually believe.
Placeholder testimonial. One from an agency producer would be worth more than two from brands, because agencies book repeatedly.
