IndyCar simulator rental

In shortOpen-wheel on both road and oval. Versatile across a multi-day show, and it reads as a connoisseur's pick to an automotive or engineering audience.

IndyCar is the only series we run that covers both road courses and superspeedways. One rig, two genuinely different experiences, which makes it the most versatile choice for a long event where the same people come back.

Why IndyCar

The versatility argument

Most race types give a crowd one experience. Put an oval car in front of someone twice and the second run is the same as the first. IndyCar is the exception: a road course session and a superspeedway session feel almost nothing alike, which matters on a three-day show where the same badge comes back on day two.

The practical version: run the road course as the default and switch to the oval for a scheduled hour, announced on the leaderboard. It gives the stand a reason to draw a second crowd without changing any hardware.

Two formats, one rig

Road course for skill, superspeedway for spectacle. No equipment change and no downtime between them.

A connoisseur signal

Lower recognition than F1 is a cost with a general crowd and an asset with an automotive or engineering one.

Forgiving at the limit

Less downforce than a current F1 car means the car slides before it snaps, which beginners cope with better.

The build

How to run it well

Default layoutShort road courseSuperspeedway laps end before a guest settles
RigFormula cockpitOpen-wheel seating position, reclined
SessionWarm-up plus three timed lapsLong enough to improve, short enough to keep the queue moving
Scheduled switchOne oval hour per dayAnnounced on the leaderboard, draws a second crowd

The thing to avoid: running superspeedway all day. It looks incredible for thirty seconds and produces a leaderboard separated by hundredths, which means nothing to a casual driver and kills the competitive thread.

Questions

What people ask about IndyCar simulators

Is IndyCar different enough from F1 to be worth a separate choice?

At an event, yes, and the difference is the oval. IndyCar runs both road courses and superspeedways, so one rig can give a crowd two completely different experiences in the same day. No other series we run does that.

Is it harder than F1?

On an oval, no. On a road course, comparable. The cars are heavier and have less downforce than a current F1 car, which makes them slightly more forgiving at the limit and slightly more punishing when you exceed it.

Does the audience know IndyCar?

Less than F1 or NASCAR, and that is worth planning for. The upside is that it reads as a connoisseur's choice. For an automotive or engineering audience that is a feature; for a general corporate crowd, F1 will get more people into the seat.

What is the best IndyCar format for a booth?

A short road course, not the oval. Superspeedway running is spectacular but the laps are so fast that a session ends before the guest has settled, and the leaderboard compresses into hundredths that mean nothing to a casual driver.

Can we run the Indianapolis 500 layout?

Named circuits depend on the title and its licensing, which we confirm per request. We describe what is available for your build rather than promising a specific venue in advance.
