Insurance and paperwork

In short$6M per occurrence, $8M aggregate. COI issued to your venue during planning, not on the week of the event.

Nobody books an activation because of the paperwork, and plenty of activations get held at a dock because of it. This is what we carry and what we need from you.

The item that most often causes a problem is the MSA, and not because anything is wrong with it. Procurement review takes as long as it takes, and a contract still in review at three weeks out pushes the booking into rush terms.

Open

What we have not settled yet

Waiver policy for motion configurations. Motion platforms raise questions that static rigs do not, and the honest position is that we are finalising it rather than improvising per event.

We publish settled answers. When this one is settled it appears here with a date.

Questions

What people ask about paperwork

What insurance do you carry?

$6M per occurrence and $8M aggregate general liability. A certificate of insurance naming your venue as additional insured is issued during pre-event planning.

When do I get the COI?

During pre-event planning, not on the week of the event. Most venues require it a set number of days before move-in, and missing that deadline is a common reason activations get held at the dock.

Do you sign our MSA?

Usually yes. Send it during planning rather than after, because procurement review is often the longest item in the chain and it is the one most likely to push a signature past the rush threshold.

Do guests sign a waiver?

Policy varies by configuration and we are finalising it. Motion platforms raise questions that static rigs do not, and we would rather publish a settled answer than an improvised one.

Are you a certified vendor at major venues?

We work to each venue's requirements rather than claiming blanket certification. Tell us the venue and we will confirm what it requires.

What about W-9s and vendor onboarding?

Standard and quick. Send the onboarding pack during planning and it will not be the thing holding up your event.
